The Founders
|
Confident Care of Colorado was founded by David and Jessica Press. David was born in Dayton, Ohio and attended college at the University of Cincinnati; studying psychology and social work. Jessica is from Gillette, WY and has a Holistic Wellness degree from Metro State College in Denver. David and Jessica have brought their midwest values of strong family, hardwork, and integrity to their business. |
Jessica has over a decade of experience teaching health and physical education to students with learning and other disabilities. It is at that time she discovered how important health, balance, and independence are to people with life challenges. Her life and work experience has brought forth an understanding and aspiration to help people with their challenges and life experiences.
After college, David operated his own business as a personal fitness trainer, teaching people take care of their bodies through fitness and nutrition. The remainder of David's career has been in the financial world, crunching numbers. While this was enjoyable, it was not fulfulling. After David witnessed his grandmother and great aunt's experiences in a nursing home, David felt that there had to be a better altnerative. Jessica's experience teaching and being a school administrator was fulfilling and successful, though she wanted to help other generations of people benefit from her knowledge and teaching of wellness. Home Care quickly became the answer.
In 2008, David and Jessica collabrated in opening Confident Care of Colorado. Confident Care is dedicated to keep people in their residences without sacrificing their quality of care and compassion.
Their pledge is to offer our clients a helping hand by way of compassion, knowledge, and dignity.
